How to connect VoIP to PSTN

You can use voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), calls make to anyone anywhere on your cable or broadband connection.

A VoIP adapter enables the connection of your phone (PSTN) public switched telephone network (phone usually used home with a landline phone) to your VoIP connection so that you do not have to go and buy a special phone to use. You need an adapter for it because a PSTN phone can connect directly to a modem VoIP. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

    Connect your cable connection or broadband modem VoIP and connected to a power outlet in your home to activate.

    Connect your phone used to your VoIP, connect card to enable PSTN telephone modem in your voice modem and plug into a power outlet in your home.

  • 3

    Place your phone on the PSTN to the correct port on your phone card.

  • This is a wireless phone, you must also ensure that the basis to a power outlet enable is connected in your home.
