Send a fax to the Broadband DSL

Place the document you want to fax in a flatbed scanner.

Go to FaxZero (see resources).

Give your name and your e-Mail address information "Section." Give name and recipient fax number in the field "Recipient information." Type your message in the box "Fax information" and enter the confirmation code. If you have a .Doc or a PDF file, click "Select file". Click on "Send free fax." If you want to view your fax, you can a version which pays for the cost for $1.99 per fax.

Give your adressee mail and your name in the "Channel info" box. "Recipient I""nfo" enter the name and the recipient's fax number. Type your message in the box "Fax content" and click "Send free fax now". If you attach to it a PDF or Word document, click on the button "download a PDF or doc fax" and select a file and click "Download".

Register with eFax.

This service will give you a fax number and address specific E-mail so that you can send and receive faxes on your DSL line without the need for a fax machine. Create an e-Mail, and the document attached. Type the fax number, followed by the e-Mail address in the section "to" the e-Mail message. Send the email and it will be converted to a fax.
