   Open the Skype application and connect when it prompts you.

Click on "Skype" and "I" to open the window options.

Find section named "keep history for", in the center of the window. You will see a button "Click here, history" in this section.

Click "clear history".

Skype will display a warning message check the pending deletion. Click on "Delete" to remove your chat history, or "Cancel" to cancel.
