Recommended for VoIP bandwidth

Bandwidth is the frequency of data across a network can be transported.

It is measured in bits per second. Voice over IP (VoIP) connections require a minimum amount of bandwidth to work satisfactorily.

    Bandwidth requirements
  1. A VoIP connection work correctly on 30 kbps bandwidth.
Delays and potentially sensitive calls during packet loss has lost but understand a conversation about this line. Bandwidth improves the quality of the service. A high quality service requires approximately 90 kbps.

Multiple calls
  • More bandwidth is needed on a row if it perform multiple calls at the same time.
  • So the amount of bandwidth multiplied each call requires. Two calls to low quality will use 60 kbit/s. Three would need 90 kbit/s.

    Differences in quality
  • There are many service providers offering VoIP services.
  • Rates of various compression and transmission algorithms use it all. For example offers Vonage, three levels of service on 30 60 and 90 kbit/s. kbps, kbit/s Each level of service is charged at a different pace.
