My Internet disconnects if phone oblong

Internet dial-up and DSL Internet are connected in a home or wireline business.

If this line is also used to voice make and receive calls, may the calls disconnect the computer and end the Internet connection. If you wait on the line service call, you must take everything online clear to avoid this problem to repeatedly occur. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

    Contact your local telephone company your Internet service provider and questions for the number that required, disable call waiting.

Many companies use "*" 70 waiting disable the number.

    Double-click the modem or the provider of DSL service on your computer desktop icon.
