How to test a Skype call

Skype configuration on your computer for the first time can be confusing.

If you've used not Skype or a similar program, you may not know if your speaker and microphone to function properly. Make if this is the case, or if you want to test some new external devices to your computer, call a test on Skype. This helps you ensure that your computer and Skype are successfully implemented.    Open Skype and login with your username and password.

Click on the "Contacts" on the left side of the screen Skype tab if it is not already highlighted.

Click the contact named "Echo Sound Test Service."

This contact is automatically added when you install Skype and you must manually add to locate it or it.

"Call" button, click green on the right side of the screen, just below avatar for "Echo Sound Test Service."

Hear the recording will lead to save a message after the beep.

A few words, and then wait until a beep. It is then the message read you entered to have only to confirm that your computer microphone is working correctly.
