How: removing Skype

Skype is a free application that uses voice over Internet Protocol technology for carrying voice and video over the Web.

You can call for free other computer with Skype but charged for calls to phones. Skype also offers a Web - cam support so that you could speak with one of your friends to video chat. However, if you, choose the application uninstall, it takes only a few mouse clicks. Difficulty: average

Instructions

    Uninstall Windows

    Click "Control Panel" on the start menu.

    Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs" (click on "uninstall a program" in "Program files" in Windows Vista and 7), and click "Skype" in the list of available programs.

    Click the button ("Uninstall" in Windows 7 and Vista), Firefox, click "No" in the application to keep "Friends list and call history" and follow the prompts to uninstall of the software "Delete".

  • If you think some time can install other Skype and click on "Yes" asked, if you want to keep your "list of friends and call history".

    You restart your computer.

    Open your applications folder.

    Drag the folder "Skype" to "Recycle."

    If you think that you will later install Skype you skip this step.

  • Otherwise, open the "Library" folder and delete the directory "Skype".
