How: use a regular fixed VoIP phone

Use of wireline phone usually requires a physical connection to a telephone line which is routed by several kilometres of wire to whom you want to call.

Instructions

Network of the things you need: VoIP adapter (should come with your VoIP provider Kit Installer) with router Ethernet CableComputer combined with a service account NetworkVoIP

    To your router using the Ethernet cable, connect the VoIP adapter.

    Open a browser on your computer such as Internet Explorer and type the IP address of the adapter telephone VoIP (included in the manual of the VoIP adapter).

    Follow the on-screen instructions to configure of the adapter to use.

  • Give your VoIP provider user name and password you received from your VoIP account when you are prompted. Unsure what to use settings, use the settings in the installer guide your VoIP provider.

    Connect your landline phone to VoIP adapter with a phone line to enable the service.
