How do I remove my name from Skype

Skype is a popular messaging application, whose popularity was the ability to make calls to users around the world, as well as the ability to chat for instant text and chat.

If you sign up for a Skype account you set a display name to find others and communicate with you. You can permanently delete a Skype name. However, you can delete your name from Skype sign in screen. Difficulty: easy

   Double-click "My computer" on the desktop.

Click the "Tools" menu and then "Folder options". On the "View" tab and click on "Show hidden files and folders radio button." Click on "OK" to save the changes. You can view this feature records Skype.

Double-click on drive "C:" and then double-click the "Documents and settings" folder.

Double-click a folder for your user name, and then double-click the "Application data" folder. Double-click the folder "Skype".

Find your Skype name home folder and right click on it.

Click on "remove".
