Customize privacy settings in Skype video

Knowing that someone with Skype can can be embarrassing to see during a video chat session.

Fortunately, Skype has privacy settings that you during the video and protect video conference calls. Follow these steps to adjust video privacy settings in Skype. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

    Open Skype.

Double-click the "Skype" icon on your desktop. Or if Skype is already running, double-click the icon in the taskbar.

    Connect to Skype.

  • Enter your user name and password.

    Click the menu "Tools" at the top of the window.

    Click "Options".

  • Version two is the last option on the "Tools" menu.

    Click "Video" tab.

  • If you want to disable video, clear the option "Enable Skype" video. You can specify other settings. For example, you can control who can chat with you.

    Click the "Privacy" tab

  • Additional general privacy settings that apply to the video appears. You can change who you can chat and contact.
