   Open Skype.

Double-click the "Skype" icon on your desktop. Or if Skype is already running, double-click the icon in the taskbar.

Connect to Skype.

Enter your user name and password.

Click the menu "Tools" at the top of the window.

Click "Video" tab.

If you want to disable video, clear the option "Enable Skype" video. You can specify other settings. For example, you can control who can chat with you.
