Download and install DirectX (see link below).

Skype recommends that you install the latest version of DirectX for video calls.

Double-click the icon for Skype to open Skype.

Open the video options menu.

Click Tools, then options, and then click the tab "Video" on the left.

Enable Skype video.

Enable the checkbox "Enable Skype Video".

Open the drop-down devices.

Choose your webcam from the list.

Click "Test Web camera."
