This is – was this VoIP for?

VoIP is an acronym for "voice over Internet Protocol" and is a method of transmission data instead of a traditional telephone network voice telephone messages over a network of IP ("Internet Protocol").

The network data can be on the Internet or internal network of the company.

    Works by VoIP
  1. VoIP works by converting voice signal into a digital signal — that is, a string of binary digits (ones and zeros)-, which may be transmitted over the Internet.
If you make a VoIP call to a landline phone number, converts the digital signal in a wave of its analog variations at the reception.

Equipment
  • To the VoIP use, need a computer, a specially crafted VoIP phone or a regular phone with a card and an Internet connection to the wide band.
  • The person you are calling must have the same facilities or if you call a fixed line phone number is just a phone.

    Attractions
  • Operation by merging the separate voice and costs in a single network can help networks and VoIP to reduce capital.
  • VoIP can also offer features and services that are available with conventional telephone systems.
