Jitter is the irregularity that arrival packet transmission.

This irregularity may sound, damage as such as VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol) programs must receive data at a steady pace.

    Solution
  1. Feed the packages in the software come decoding at regular intervals that VoIP system must maintain a buffer.
The jitter buffer contains incoming packages and free decoding at restricted speed, eliminating the jig.

Disadvantages
  • Jitter buffer created a delay in the delivery of packages, but the size of the delay depends on the size of the buffer.
  • More commercial VoIP jitter buffer cannot be is a set size and changed by the user - only enabled or disabled.

    Causes
  • Irregularities in the packages in a VoIP call arrival rate, are usually due to the different network load.
